Border Patrol is our security, monitoring and preventative maintenance appliance. The appliance acts as a 'Gateway' to the internet, filtering web and email traffic to suit your requirements and preventing SPAM, viruses and malware from entering your network. The appliance also includes a network monitoring service which minimises network downtime by sending notifications of potential problems before they impact on your network.

Multi-Layer Protection
Border Patrol implements a unique 'multi-layer' combination of email and internet traffic scanning. Placed just behind the gateway to your network, all internet (SMTP / HTTP) traffic is scanned for common threats, such as SPAM, viruses and other malware.

Border Patrol will reduce the need for 'on-demand' virus scanning on your desktop PCs and boost productivity by eliminating up to 99.9% of spam.

Automated Network Monitoring

Using the web based management console, you can keep an eye on your network assets, view network maps and manage what is monitored.

Web Based management
There is no need to log into Border Patrol locally in order to release mail or change security settings. Using a web browser, you can control the level of filtering, manage SPAM or check the status of Border Patrol from a remote location. You can also eliminate the need for helpdesk requests by allowing user access to spam controls.
